About Our Organisation

Who We Are

Registered under Section 8 of the Companies Act, BAFL (Building Athletes for Life) is a not-for-profit organisation committed to empowering youth from underserved communities through structured sports development—primarily focused on archery.

Established in 2023, our organisation operates at the intersection of grassroots sports, education, and youth development.

We believe that access to sports is not a privilege, but a right—and an effective tool for lifelong empowerment.

Where We Began

Our journey began in Pune, where we launched our first training initiative in collaboration with Avasara Academy.

We started with just 10 bows, 2 coaches, and a shared belief.

Starting with minimal infrastructure but a strong commitment, we began identifying promising young athletes who lacked access to formal coaching, equipment, and exposure.

What Drives Us

We believe that talent exists everywhere—but opportunity doesn't.

BAFL was founded to bridge this gap by bringing professional coaching, mentorship, and exposure to youth who would otherwise be overlooked by mainstream systems.
